Career Planning and Professional Development training
On November 20, JA Azerbaijan and AMCHAM Azerbaijan jointly organized a training on “Career Planning and Professional Development” for war-wounded, children of veterans and martyrs of the 44-day Patriotic War.
In addition to theoretical knowledge, the training program included practical assignments, teamwork, soft skills development, and discussions with mentors. Leaders of leading companies operating in Azerbaijan, Fazila Askerova (Socar Midstream), Movlan Pashayev (PWC Azerbaijan), Nariman Topchibashev (PMD projects), Ilgar Mehdi (Ekvita) and Bakhtiyar Akhundov (MOL Azerbaijan) participated in the training as mentors and shared their professional experiences with young people.
The training program was conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AmCham Azerbaijan), Junior Achievement Azerbaijan amd “Azercell Telecom” LLC as part of “Professional Development and Career Planning” project. Currently, 25 veterans and children of martyrs are involved in the professional development program.
