“Youth-led Enterprise Solutions” action, which was launched in December within the framework of Youth Empowerment and Leadership Program and financed by UNICEF and the EU, is to be completed this month. The main goal of the last action of the Program, which contains two phases, is to support the development of social and business solutions proposed by the youth to solve problems of interest and concern. The program is implemented with the direct participation of the Binagadi Youth House, Khazar Youth House, Mingachevir Youth House, Shamkir, Bilasuvar, Gazakh Youth Development and Career Centers. The conduction of the Youth-Led Enterprise Solutions allows the “Youth Empowerment and Leadership” program to achieve the proposed objectives as specified in the framework of the program, thus making it successful on the whole program.
The second phase of the program, which has been concluded recently, included the online meeting sessions on personal and professional development topics with the experts in January and February 2021. This stage of the action was implemented with the close cooperation between the JA Azerbaijan and Lotfizadeh Technology Center. There were total of 12 seminars conducted within 4 directions, such as “Me, Professional Me, Business Core, and Business Skills”. Each session was delivered by professional field speaker Including a track record on specific topics. Each seminar took place online over ZOOM and lasted approximately one hour. In collaboration with JAA, the organization and management of the second phase of the program was performed by LTC.
The seminars featured 12 speakers and moderators, including specific topics, such as:
- Big “Why” question – Life decisions and personal vision;
- Understanding yourself and personal traits – Enneagram methodology;
- Presentation skills – How to present yourself and get attention;
- Research and analysing skills – How to better use the google and other tools;
- MS Excel – Single and biggest app that definitely covers most of business needs;
- Finding job, Work relationships and Career;
- Finance knowledge for non-finance people;
- Marketing and Sales – strategies and impact on business;
- Programming as career opportunity;
- Designer as career opportunity;
- Servicing customers/Barista job as career opportunity;
- Online Sales and E commerce as opportunity.
The final stage of the program is expected on 23rd-24th of February, 2021. Participants are already finalizing their projects to present. The winners will get certificates and seed funding for their projects.
