JA Student Company program – Training of Trainers

On March 26-27, JA Azerbaijan conducted TOT on JA Student Company program for secondary and VET school teachers. The training was organized within the framework of the “Entrepreneurship for Youth” project, funded by the European Union, and co-funded by PASHA Bank. The aim of the training was to introduce teachers to the Student Company program, the main Junior Achievement’s program on entrepreneurship for students, and to teach teaching methods.

In total, about 50 teachers from Baku, Khachmaz, Gabala, Gakh, Zaqatala, Ganja, Mingachevir and Masally participated in the training. The training was conducted through ZOOM by Epp Vodja and Aljona Bostan, experts from JA Estonia.

On the first day of the training, the teachers identified the market problems and solutions for target customers in teams. The next day, JA Estonia shared its 13 years of Student Company program experiences with teachers. In order to make them familiar, the products and services presented by Estonian students at the trade fairs were shown to teachers.

It should be noted that the project participants have gotten training on financial literacy and entrepreneurship education. The trained teachers conducted training in both directions during the 2019-2020, 2020-2021 academic years.
