Empowering Teachers with Entrepreneurship Education: TOT Training Drives Innovative Teaching Methods.

On August 11-12, JA Azerbaijan conducted TOT on entrepreneurship education for teachers. The training was organized within the framework of the “Junior Entrepreneurs: Empowering Future Business Leaders” project, funded by bp and its partners. The aim of the training was to enhance the teachers’ knowledge and skills on entrepreneurship education by introducing innovative teaching methods based on JA programs.

In total 34 teachers from Baku and 18 regions were invited to participate in the 2-whole-day training sessions.

During the training, teachers engaged in hands-on workshops, interactive sessions, and practical exercises, all aimed at enhancing their ability and skills to effectively teach entrepreneurship concepts. They became more familiar with the basics and tools of entrepreneurship education.

At the end all participants were awarded certificates.

It’s important to note that the trained teachers will share their newfound knowledge with other teachers in their regions. Around 600 teachers will take on this role to teach entrepreneurship in STEAM schools. This effort will directly impact over 5000 students in 8th and 9th grades.

The project is being executed in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and STEAM Azerbaijan.
